A Water Powered Turbine:

​The goal that is trying to be achieved is a water pump that will pump water from any river and convert it into usable electric energy that can be used to charge a cell phone. When going on hiking trips the last thing a forest has is an outlet, so unless you bring a generator your electronics are unusable. Instead a river nearby can be used to supply the energy needed to charge a cellular device. The end result of our project should be a portable water pump that can be carried easily to a campsite.
